Every year in the spring, Alpine Cross will offer an international tour to France for total immersion in the paragliding experience. We set up basecamp in the Annecy, France area. Right above a large lake, Annecy is thought of as one of the most consistent meccas of flying in Europe. It is also centrally located to multiple other sites including Passy, Chamonix, and St. Hilaire, which are often included in the Red Bull X-Alps competition as turn points. We choose the day based on crowds and weather, and decide which site will offer the best cross country conditions for the day. These tours will saturate your seek for knowledge and understanding as you will be guided and mentored through the whole experience. There are plenty of accommodations in the area including Airbnb options as well as luxury hotels. Most launches and landing have a snack bar, bar or restaurant to relax and share stories about how you made your personal best altitude or cross country distance.
